With the EA app’s collection of Positive Play features, it’s simple to track time spent gaming and to set playtime limits. They also asked for powerful, easy-to-understand tools to help them manage how they and their family members play. They wanted a cleaner, more streamlined design, so we created a sleek interface built around a simplified home screen that features highlighted recommendations to help them find what to play next, help them get more from their games and to know what their friends are up to. Our players asked for quicker, simpler ways to get into their games, so we built easy Quick Access and Play Now features, seamless client updates and game patching, and a simplified login and registration system. To experience the benefits of EA Play, they will be redirected to the EA app, EA’s new PC platform designed from the ground up to be smarter, faster, more connected than ever before and built with player feedback in mind.
To get started, Xbox Game Pass members can visit the Xbox app on Windows 10 to guide them through set up and to discover a rich library of games. Through the EA app, our next-generation PC platform that’s currently in open beta, and the Xbox app for Windows 10, members will receive access to EA Play and get exclusive in-game challenges and rewards, a collection of outstanding games in The Play List, 10% savings on purchases of EA digital content, and trial access to full versions of select new releases. Since November, EA Play* has been available to all Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members on console and starting today, Xbox Game Pass PC and Ultimate members can also get more from their favorite EA games.
